13 Beirut
20 Damascus

Playoffs is where mettle is tested, and experience definitely helps. Damascus is a young team with some talent. I see a first round exit at the hands of the more talented and experienced Beirut. What I’ve noticed about Beirut is that they play hard. They dive and fight for loose balls. They also play together, led by some savvy veterans. Beirut wins by 10-15, InshaAllah.

14 Lagos
19 Baghdad

My team has been very inconsistent. We’re trying to make a push and it starts with Baghdad. But hey, going 2-0 with 4 guys has got to be some MB record right? I marvel at Baghdad. Despite their winless regular season, they still seems to having a lot of fun. They’ve been there at the end in almost every game they played. They have the largest roster in the league and they all show up every week. That shows love for the game, MashaAllah.

15 Granada
18 Jeddah

Granada has been the most hot / cold team in my opinion. They’re one of few that defeated Kazaan and limited their star, then came out flat against my team the following week. But they’ve got the scoring talent that’s needed in the playoffs, especially when it comes to finishing games. Jeddah had a tough season, losing some players and playing with 4 guys in a game. (Trust me it sucks). However, they have one of the top rebounders and some athletes. This could be an upset but Allah knows best.

16 Sarajevo
17 Timbuktu

Sarajevo is peaking at the right time. They’ve got a group of big athletes that know how to ball. With a full squad, they can take anyone on. Timbuktu has some ballers as well but I don’t see them matching Sarajevo’s physicality. Sarajevo by 20, InshaAllah.
