It has been awhile since I have done some MB predictions, so why not start it up again! This forum section used to be great. People are quiet now. Lets change that!
This is where I normally say for teams not to take anything I say personal, and it is all just fun and games, but honestly, I don't care if you take it personal or not.
Tripoli vs Bukhara - Love the Abbassis, but I am going to go with Tripoli in this one. Ali and Connor had great games last week, but I think Jean will dominate this one. Billal is one of the best defenders in this league, and no way he goes another game without scoring. Breakout game for Billal, but not enough to get the W.
Beirut vs Baghdad - Lets call a spade a spade. Kudos to Baghdad for winning the chip last year. What a run. But the only reason they won was because the best teams last year all lost in the first round. Beirut, Mecca, Medina, Kazan, and Mombasa ALL lost first round. Talk about easy street. I do have some inside information in this game, so its tough to say my guys are going to win easily, but I am still loyal and will take Beirut in a close game. Amir, you can't have another poor performance this game. I have seen you score 30+ countless times. That Amir needs to come out for a chance in this one.
Palermo vs Medina - That boy Shafic is a tough guard. Medina started off with a tough loss, and unfortunately I think they have another one here. Don't be fooled by the 0-2 record if they do lose though, Medina is stacked.
Dhaka vs Alexandria - This will be a domination. 20+ point victory for the "Super Team," also known as Dhaka. My guy Zain is a huge addition to an already great team.
Delhi vs
Sana'a - Delhi desperately needs another ball handler. The kid that they call "Splash" that shoots under 30% from 3 in his career and is always complaining to the refs can't be the only one dribbling all the time. Hey, to be fair, he has a better 3pt % than I do, but my nickname isn't "Splash," its Tex. Clayton is a super fundamental player, and underrated in my opinion. Give me Sana'a.
Cordoba vs Islamabad - Unfortunately, Islamabad had to play with just 5 guys last week. This week, they can have a full team and it really isn't going to matter. Cordoba has two of the best defenders in the league in Frank and Cody. Miss you guys. They also have the 3pt specialist Anthony Ozoria. LOL jk. He can't shoot, but he does make AMAZING Apple Lemon Ginger juice and ginger shots! @a1_juices201 on IG. Anyway, Cordoba wins by a lot.
Suba vs
Granada - Someone has to win, right? Can I predict a tie? I guess I will go with Granada since I am forced to pick. Whoever can shoot higher than 40% from the field wins.
Amman vs
Jakarta - Amman has easily one of my favorite players to watch in MB, in Danny B. CORNER'S HOT! I am going with old reliable. Steve, Kenny, Ed, and the rest of the crew will win by 20+ points, no matter what team shows up. Omar and Derrick need to combine for 50 to have a shot.
Kazan vs Lahore - I swear I am not saving the best for last and I am just going in the order of the schedule. Well, both apply in this situation. Some say its bad luck to predict your own game, I say is it really a prediction, or is it a guarantee? Lahore has one of the most dominant big men MB has seen in Omar, and Moayad is a beast. I respect both of their games. Dogs. Kazan has John Hart. I don't spot an "m," an "i," or an "s" in his name. That is because he doesn't miss. I am going to actually predict a score in this one. I say 187-34 Kazan.
