Its all up in the air right now. It could be anyones win this year. Although Lakers are in first, most of their games have been very close. In three of the games they trailed by more than 10 and came back to win it. They do know how to finish.
Hornets and Spurs have alot of chemistry. I think that is because they have been playing with each other alot.
My final four: Spurs, Hornets, Nets, and Lakers |
I only miss during games. |

I would pick those four as well. Lakers have alot more potential they just need to utilize some of their strengths better like they did in the BULLS game which in my opinion was one of our best games, and not give any room for sloppy tactics in the beginning (like they did in the bulls game). The good thing is we know how to clean up after ourselves when we're down, tighten everything up (offense/defense), identify our weaknesses and what's happening and come back and win. It's happened 3 times (nets, hornets, spurs).
Alot of the times I have seen in games when a team is down, someone will try to take over and jock the ball. Or everyone will just start throwing up shots, and basically what happens is the team self-destructs. Before you know it someone is yelling at someone else they are all getting mad, when thats the exact negative energy that could drive a teams morale down and snatch a win from them. |

Good point about the self-destruction. The Lakers have been an example for every other team to follow. Although their games have been close and they've been vulnerable to losses, the fact is that they're 5-0 and have beaten the next 3 best teams in the league already. |

i would also agree and say that the 4 best teams are spurs lakers hornets and nets.. i think the suns are also good and people shouldnt sleep on them. although history has told us not the best ranks teams will make the final four. as the season progresses every team will form some kind of chemistry which can lead to upsets in the playoffs. also it seems like the western conference has more of the better teams. if the format is east champ vs west champ it could be a one sided final. regardless i think the team with the best chemistry will prevail at the end.

1. hornets - 1,2 combo of Mujtaba and Edriss is one of the best in the league .. along with 3pt specialist Tariq and 'dangerous' big man Mo, this team will be hard to beat (3-0 with the arrival of Mujtaba)
2. lakers - have every position covered by a skilled player .. chemistry has gotten better throughout the season .. Sami and Ahmed are two players you dont want to see get hot
3. spurs - lethal Chaudry brothers play with heart, skill, and talent .. along side their usual teammates .. high chemistry level
4. nets - big overall team .. isaiah can run the offense .. need to build more chemistry
5. suns - good role players .. only one major offensive threat (kevin)
6. celtics - solid all around players .. inconsistent shooting
7-8. bulls/knicks - both teams are undersized and lack chemistry .. both teams have also lost some top tier players
Championship Hornets beat Lakers by 7
Semi Finals 1. Lakers beat 4.Nets by 10 2. Hornets beat 3. Spurs by 8

yea they do.. its because they are in the east. it looks like you play every team in your conference twice and play the teams in the other conference once.

I think everybody is sleeping on the knicks. even though they only won one game so far they have a really solid squad.
