LAST WK: 1

Lost their captain Quran for this week's game and still pulled off a win against a strong Jerusalem team. This team's ability to find scoring from multiple different players is impressive. They will be hard to stop at this pace, moving to 2-0 this week despite losing their captain and playing with an injured player.

29 points this week from Ibrahim Jaaber would’ve been enough to win the game alone. The other 32 points were just a bonus I suppose. It will be interesting to see how this team fares if IJ gets shut down though (if that is possible). They won handily although their competition wasn’t strong enough to earn them a #1 spot this week.

LAST WK: 3

Missing their captain and point guard Abdul-Rahman Husain really hurt this team early. There just wasn’t enough continuity early in the match. This team actually could’ve pulled off a win too, Anwar Ahmad put on a tremendous performance attacking the rim and shooting at will. Some late game frustration led to their demise it seemed. Their week 3 bye should be helpful for this team.

These guys didn't play, but a big test is coming next week against Mecca. A win could significantly shift these rankings, it will be a tough matchup, though.

Same story as last week as Medina takes a hard loss to Mecca this week. Strength of schedule and a lack of offensive firepower has really hurt this team. A week off and some easier matchups will hopefully help this team recuperate. Second half looked better than the first, hopefully they can carry some of that momentum into their week 4 game.
