Mecca looks like they're on another level compared to the field. They dominated both ends of the court, and even when looking like they let their foot off the gas substantially, they still outscored Tarim in the second half.

The high intensity defense throughout the game helped mitigate horrendous shooting (credit to Cordoba) ensuring the win at the final buzzer. Anything better on that end will keep them top 2 week-in / week-out.

Granted they were missing their top gun, but with the captain going down with an injury, who knows how they'll perform Week 2. 

Excellent ball movement in Week 1, involving everyone on the team. This will be imperative to sustain success.

A historically bad shooting game drops them just one spot? Sure, because they were without last year's MVP. He will determine if this team is a contender or pretender, but till then, shooters gotta keep shooting.

22 3PA vs 2 FTA? Not a recipe for success. Tripoli will need to be a lot more aggressive and has its chance against the undersized Jerusalem in Week 2.

First MB game for most of this team, and it seems they were shell shocked. It won't get any easier Week 2, facing off the newly appointed #1. Ian needs to assert himself.

A huge win for the free agent team without their top player. They ratcheted up the defense and handcuffed Medina, which also missed a ton of uncharacteristic open shots. Not ready to climb the power rankings just yet - let's see what happens Week 2.
