Tubas

Tubas holds the top spot with two strong outings against Nazareth and Gaza that showed complete control on both ends of the floor. Their gritty win in Week 1 followed by a smooth victory over Gaza proves they already have a well-established identity early in the season. Saad Qureshi has been spectacular, putting up MVP-caliber numbers with elite efficiency and confident scoring in every matchup.

One minor concern for Tubas is how they will respond if a team pushes them into a faster and more chaotic pace of play. Even with that question in mind, their depth and consistency continue to separate them from the rest of the league. The team plays with a calm and disciplined approach that makes them incredibly difficult to disrupt. Tubas has built real momentum and continues to look like the most complete contender through the first two weeks.

Nazareth

LAST WK: --

Nazareth opened Week 1 with a tough offensive slump where Jamal had to shoulder nearly all of the scoring load. Week 2, however, showed exactly what this group can achieve when every scorer is active, available, and fully in rhythm. Their ball movement improved, their spacing opened the floor, and multiple players stepped into confident scoring roles.

A flaw they still need to address is their tendency to fall asleep defensively and allow opponents to score in simple ways. Even with that issue present, Nazareth displayed one of the most explosive offensive performances of the season so far. Their team chemistry looked much sharper, and their shooters played with a level of confidence that can carry them far.

Projected Ranking for Week 4: 2 to 3, depending on how well the defense improves.

Rafah

Rafah sits in the third spot but has played well enough to be considered extremely close to the second position. Their wins came through physical play, smart decision-making, and the steady leadership of Captain Baba Waqas, who continues to score with impressive efficiency.

Their victory over Shatila was particularly impressive because they handled size disadvantages while missing key players who would normally help secure rebounds. A weakness they still struggle with is streaky perimeter shooting, which occasionally disrupts their late-game spacing. Even with that obstacle, Rafah has shown a level of grit and resilience that stands out across the league.

Projected Ranking for Week 4: 1 to 3, with a real chance to climb if they can take down Tubas.

Shatila began the season with an impressive Week 1 win where they outperformed Jerusalem through balanced scoring and a dominant performance from AW, who posted 23 points and 13 rebounds. Their offense moved the ball well, and every player filled their role effectively.

Week 2 became more challenging as missing key pieces impacted their shot quality, spacing, and overall depth. At times, their limited rotation made it difficult to keep pace with Rafah, who hit timely shots and controlled the glass. Despite those issues, Shatila still possesses one of the most physically imposing lineups in the league when fully available. Their interior presence and rebounding strength give them an advantage against most opponents.

Projected Ranking for Week 4: 4 to 5, depending heavily on roster availability.

Jerusalem

LAST WK: --

Jerusalem has yet to play a single game with their complete roster, making it difficult to gauge their true ceiling. Week 1 showed flashes of strong shooting from Yasin and Sumair, but the lack of interior scoring and missing key players caused them to lose control late.

Week 2 featured a massive performance from JD, who erupted for 41 on elite shooting—showing their offense can reach a high level. Their ongoing challenge is simply availability, as JD, 50, and Chandler have not shared the floor yet. Still, their talent is undeniable, and their scoring potential rises dramatically once their core three play together.

Projected Ranking for Week 4: 4 to 6, with a strong chance to grab their first win against Gaza.

Gaza
Gaza

Gaza is still looking to find its full stride, but the foundation is clearly present. Week 1 brought strong shooting, fluid ball movement, and efficient scoring from Ismail, James of Lod, and Wasay.

Week 2 tested them with lower shooting percentages, yet they remained competitive thanks to solid contributions from Akbar, James, and Wasay. One issue that continues to hold them back is turnovers and scoring droughts that make it difficult to regain momentum.

Even with those setbacks, Gaza consistently creates quality looks and stays in games through spacing and chemistry. Their ability to generate deep shots keeps them competitive in any matchup.

Projected Ranking for Week 4: 5 to 6, depending on how they respond to the challenge against Jerusalem.
