They had an easy matchup, which obviously means Yazur took care of business. Four players stood in the double digits—Moumtaz had 26 points, while Alhassna threw in 19. Mountaka and Salihoun each had 15 points. It’s also a great Saturday when you shoot 51% as a team. |

In one of the more talked about games, I have to say, Omar Singer takes insane shots…and he makes them. He finished with 27 points, while Mahrooz sat out a lot of the game due to foul trouble, but still finished with 13. If you do the math, Abdurahmen’s squad did not hold those two under 30 points (spoiler, it was 40). |

Like I said last week, I think they’re really finding their identity as a squad. The team had THREE players having double-digit points and rebounds. Aymen, Mohamed, and Ammar really carried the team this week, and I can see them continuing their hot streak. |

This was a nice bounce back game for the team. Iyaad, the young rook, is stating his claim for the best player in the league. 37 points on 15-20 shooting (7-9 from 3) is insanity. As the weeks go by, he’s looking more and more unstoppable. Joe Capone also had a nice day, having 18 points. The rest of the team did what they were supposed to, which was all that was needed to get past Akka. |

Every week Gagan puts on a show—he had 31 points on 11-15 shooting. He’s having an MVP level year, and if he can continue performances like this against the rest of the schedule, it’s his. Jamil also had his debut, dropping 15 points. And if I’m doing my math right, the no name on Qibya had 14. The rest of their schedule is all within the top 4, so they can really make some noise. |

No Mana means that the rest of the squad has to step up. Elias had probably the most efficient stat-line of the day, having 24 points on 9-13 shooting. The younger Aglaguel pitched in with 10. Shafic struggled this game, but I’m sure he’ll bounce back soon. They were simply outmatched and outsized this week. |

They made it a really entertaining game, but did themselves no favors by getting down in a hole so early. Lil O had 23 but the stat-line is doing him no favors (9-26, 4-18 from 3). Fursan (19pts) and Mujtaba (17pts) had good games, and I’m confident that they’ll be fine against the rest of their opponents. |

Captain Abdurahmen thought it would be smooth sailing, but all they encountered was some very rough terrain. At one point in the game it was like seeing a deer in headlights. Fortunately for them Daishon was a bucket throughout, finishing with 30 points, but no one else really stepped up to help the team. Mohamed Amin was out who definitely would’ve helped make things more interesting, but it’s safe to say the crown doesn’t belong to anyone on this squad (looking at you, Abdurahmen). |

I’m proud of Baysan. This is a completely different team than the first two weeks—they’ve cleaned up their act and started to trust one another more. Sheff Doola continues to be the cornerstone of the squad, having 20 points. If they can keep the team going, I can see them finishing positive this season. |

A massive, much needed win for the team. And at the buzzer! Shabazz with a team high 12 points, and he’s currently having his best year to date. This was an overall team win, and definitely a moral booster going into the second half of the season. |

A rough, rough way to lose. I do have to give it to the father-son duo. They give heart each and every game. Kareem had 17 points while Sami finished with 13. I can imagine this would be a different game if Husan was there. |

When you go up against Yazur, especially as a bottom 10 team, you should expect nothing less than an L. Omar Khan had 29 points and carries this team. Also, good to see Ryan back on the court, having 9 points and 11 rebounds. Malik also finished with a double-double (11 pts, 10 rbs). |

When you can’t figure out how to defend Iyaad, you’re going to get burned. Shoutout to Bruno Pillari—he had 25 points against a tough team, and is having a really good season at the moment. |

I want to say congrats to Haifa for winning, despite going up against 4 players. I won’t take that away from them. A win is win. |

The only bright side of this game that it was only a 5 point loss. They’re currently on a downward trajectory, and you can attribute that to missing David Stang, who really anchored down the paint. |

At this point, you almost have to feel bad for them. 3 out of the 4 games have been played with 5 or less players. There’s only so much a team can do when they’re constantly at a disadvantage. |
