If they didn’t forfeit in the playoffs last season, they had a real chance to be back to back champs. Mountaka reuniting with Alassane and bringing back key pieces in Salihoun, Moumtaz, and Sadia should make them clear favorites to bringing home the chip.

The new-look summer champs are back, possibly better than last season. Shafic and Mana are looking to pickup right where they left off.

On paper, this team is full of stars. MB newcomer Iyaad teaming up with veterans—Amir, Towfeek, Joe Capone and Mairaj. Those are household names. Watch out, because they’re already contenders.

The power of friendship makes its return, this time adding Ali Sufian and Mujtaba. Trading height to be a fast paced, high flying team. A lack of a big might hurt them, though.

Mohamed Popal left the family and brought his own squad this season. If the rumors are true, Gagan has a chance to take the league by storm. We’ll have a better idea when the season begins.

Anas teaming up with Sean, Ammar, and Mohamed was not something on my Winter season bingo card. This team looks pretty well-rounded, but I’m more interested to see how a group of ball dominant players will co-exist.

Mahrooz and Omar are bringing their North team down Central, bringing in fellow vets Salman Illyas and Ameer Koyas. They have a chance to make some noise based on their chemistry.

Sami Shaban is headed to the fountain of youth with Husan and co. We’re all interested to see how this team meshes with one another.

If Tarek and Ibraheem can return to form I think this team can be problems. They’re hard to gauge, I feel like we’ll have a better idea of their play style when we see them on the court.

The only names I recognize on this team are Daishon Robinson and Mo Amin. If Daishon is still a bucket, and Mo can recreate his stat lines from last year, I can see this team causing trouble for their opponents each week.

I’m glad to see Danesh coming back. He was a late season bloomer and really made an impact on the league. Mahmoud and Shabazz also make a return, and should contribute.

This team can dangerous—Sami, Waheed, and Yusuf are great additions and make a difference on the court. The rest we’ll have have to see after week 1.

Elton is bringing his boys back over the bridge. They’re a good team, and had a bunch of close games once they found their rhythm. If they start off how they ended last season, they can move up.

I’m not familiar with anyone on this roster so we’ll revisit this team next week.

I don’t know much about this team, so we’ll have a proper analysis after week 1.
