LAST WK: 1

The new look Yazur are still on top and don't plan on going anywhere any time soon. Moumtaz turned on the burners in the last 10 minutes and basically said "they can't guard me" as he splashed 7 threes. Salihoun was posting up the taller Mohamed Albana with absolute ease and made it look effortless down low. Taka with 8 assists shows why he is a top floor general in the league.

Nazareth

LAST WK: 3

Heard some of the Nazareth players saying Shafic who?! after the game. But seriously, they were not missing their star guard at all this game. Everyone take lessons - Nazareth won't really try unless you talk smack. Omar Mana aka the best big man in the league (sorry Messiah but you have to get a few morewins to take this title) with his signature 20/20 game. Elias again making a case for DPOY by holding Ammar to 3 points while making him shoot an insane 1-14 from the field. They say Yazur are the clear cut favorites but man does Nazareth say otherwise.

LAST WK: 2

Areeha had us thinking they actually might be the ones to give Haifa their first win. Lil O stepped up to the task with 19 points and 9 rebounds to help his team edge out the win. Seriously tho, who keeps letting this Lil Guy rack up so many boards? Big Heart Abbassi getting it done for his team every week.

LAST WK: 4

This was a WILD game. 71 shots between 3 players and 45 threes attempted is something you don't ever see. They got out rebounded by 20 and shot 34% from the field (26% from three) and still managed to pull out the win. Also, is that 9 steals I see from Singer??? 9??? We have a bandit on the loose fellas.

LAST WK: 5

Sabra kept it close for most of the game but then, well, came showtime Ryan. 8 turnovers, with a lot of them coming in the last 10 minutes of the game will not cut it if this team hopes top make a run at the title. I get it, they're trying to let him dictate the offense, but at some point you have to let someone else handle the rock. Let's see how they adjust with their sharp shooter Ahmed hopefully back next week.

Look what the cat dragged in, a full Baysan squad! Haven't seen Kareem in these neck of the woods before. But boy did Kareem and Big Moose back in action, as they barely edged out a win against a struggling Bir Seb'a. Hopefully they can get some chemistry going before playoff time.

LAST WK: 6

This team looks way different now than they did in the beginning of the season, and not in a good way. Shall we say, exposed...? The only person who came to play ball was Mohamed Amin with 12 points and 7 boards. And what do we have here? Sami Shaban 0 points on 0-6 shooting. Looks like it's time to hang it up and join me in bagging groceries at stop & shop OG...

Alassane "don't wake me up" Sibane was definitely awake this game. 17 points on 60% shooting after a 1-10 shooting game is an impressive bounce back. Now the question is, is this team better without Husan? With him out it was clear that Alassane is the floor general. Let's see if this team can figure out how to get these star guards to work together.

Get Messiah and Waheed some help... sometimes I think this team just wants to gift the opposition a win. From throwing the ball full court when you have a win almost sealed to now calling timeouts when you have none, its as if this team can't do anything right in the last minute of games. They can easily be a 5-2 team right now if it weren't for careless mistakes late in games. Please watch some film and turn it around. Can't stand to see a 40+ MBR season from Messiah go to waste.

LAST WK: 10

Another week, another Akka loss. Between the visible frustration and yelling you could sense the dysfunction. Offensively and defensively, nothing was working for this team. A bright spot is that we saw Ahmed Kouar play a few minutes. Is he back in action and ready to help Akka right the ship? I guess we'll have to wait to find out.

Bir Seb'a

LAST WK: 11

Another tough loss for Bir Seb'a. Ana with a poor shooting night going 3-17 doesn't help in their quest of getting another win on the board. Salman with another monster game on the boards with 18.

LAST WK: 12

Man has this team had some close games this season. They were playing some great basketball throughout a few stretches of this game, but as is always the case they can never close it out. Can they get their first win against a fellow 11th seed Bir Seb'a next week? It is definitely much needed.
