New week, same Shafic and Mana. The duo scored a combined 43 points and grabbed 23 of the team’s 29 rebounds. They let Haifa stick around for the first 35 minutes, but then turned on the burners and won by 9. Top team in the league folks. |

No car problems or scheduling mix ups this week and it resulted in a Yazur win. Moumtaz looking like a real bucket getter for this team, dropping a team high 24 points on 11-17 shooting. Majority of the personnel on this team could drop 20 any given week, which is what makes them scary to match up against. Let’s see if they reclaim the number 1 spot soon. |

Another come from behind victory for Shatila. When that defensive anchor is set by Sami late in the game, it’s game over for the other team. Kareem with an unorthodox good shooting night, scoring a team high 16 points on 5-11 shooting. Looks like Sami really did talk to him. |

No Raahim, no problem. Just leave it up to Mahrooz “call me Bron” Qaderi. Not to mention Salman Khan woke up this morning with an agenda, shoot the other team out of the game. This duo combined for 75% of the team’s points and responded to every blow from Akka. I said the first week dont expect this team to be that low in the power rankings again, and here we are week 3 with them sitting at #4. Going to be an exciting matchup as they go up against the #1 team in the league next week. |

My oh my, has Malik finally awoken. 17 points on 7-9 shooting, you couldn’t ask for a better game from him with Ryan out. AB also accidentally crossed someone up and had the game winning layup. In all seriousness though, that was tuff. The 1 question that remains for this team though, can they give Malik the ball more? When Ryan is in Malik takes a back seat, which we saw this week isn’t the best strategy. We’ll find out how this plays out in the weeks to come. |

Talk about a heart breaking loss. Not much was going for them shooting wise but they kept it neck and neck the entire game. Fursan hit a crazy clutch 3 pointer to force overtime. This win literally slipped out of their fingers on a game winning basket. Even with Big O out, Yazan pulled down a massive 24 boards. He had some easy looks at the rim that just missed. Lil O also didn’t have a good shooting night, because although he dropped 21 points, it came at a 7-25 shooting clip. Hopefully with Big O back nex |

Akka on the losing column again. 2 in a row just isn’t in their Qadar is it? Though they kept it close the entire game after a slow start, they just could not get defensive stops at the end. The offense looks like it needs polishing as well, still seems to be no rhythm to it. Ibraheem Sharaf with 16 points on 50% shooting is a good sign. Omar Usmani also with 17 but on a not so great 7-18 shooting. Definitely some things this team needs to figure out, let’s see if they do against a run and gun Areeha |

This team’s offense kind of reminds me of Akka. Not much rhythm and every play is sort of a free for all, sort of a “if you have the ball try to make a play”. Husan led the team in scoring once again with 14 points but on a poor 5-16. Once they figure out their roles and how to play together, this team can be 5 or 6, especially with all the talent they have. Till then, let’s hope they’re watching film. |

Let’s be honest, after the first half we thought this was going to be Yazur 50 piece. Anas said “nah” and dropped 25 points helping them score 43 in the second half. Abdullah Shabazz heard the “All D and no 3” comments and dropped 2 threes tonight. |

Haifa did a lot better this week than we expected them to. Usama and Elton led the way with 19 and 18 each. This game proved that they can ball, but really have to figure out their second half woes. |
