Mr. Abdelhadi do you want your MVP trophy in silver or gold? All jokes aside, I am sure he can careless about the personal accolades if it doesn’t result in a chip at the end of the year. And by the looks of it, they are heading in the right direction. Moe had 20 points and 12 rebounds to go along with 5 assists 6 steals and 1 block……. It was also nice to see Billal play with some aggression and look for his while also locking up on the defensive side. Moe Masri hit 3 from the great beyond and they didn’t really need much from Kareem or Jehad. This team is riding in cruise cont |

One of two remaining undefeateds after last night and man are they so well constructed. Zain and Idris had 22 and 20, respectively. Salim had 12, Splash had 11 and Samna made his layups. They shot 60% from the field as a team and 48% from 3. Not only are they taking good shots, but they are so patient and selfless with the basketball. Greg Popovich would shed tears of joy watching this team play basketball. I can’t wait for them to match up with Sana’a. Oh and Zain is the clear but #2 in MVP consideration. |

No Farhad and yet they almost managed to steal this one. Hassan must be a huge NBA 2K“MyCareer” fan as he is putting up video game stat lines. 18 points 13 rebounds 2 assists 5 steals and 3 more blocks! You guys do know this man is 5’7 weighing a buck thirty soaking wet right? The young buck deserves all the praise in the world after a subpar rookie season, and not trying to take away anyone’s jobs (or volunteer work in this case) but he HAS to be mentioned in the MVP ladder. Anyway, back to the game. Aadil Yousef (who by the way is the youngest player in the league) had 18 and 9 |

Okay I know they just beat Jerusalem, but they were without Farhad. But I will applaud them for going out and acquiring Aymen, as they desperately needed a mobile big. Shahzaib aka “I am a bucket” Khan led the way with 15 points on a night where Omar Singer didn’t seem like he was much of a factor, perhaps it was the glute injury. Despite the quiet games from their top guns, they got the job done, and now they can focus on the revenge game against Damascus. Not to take away from Mr. Predictions, but I don’t see Lagos losing their next two games. |

Their guards showed out and can’t blame them for their efforts. Islamabad just didn’t miss. Ali and Shafic combined to go 11 for 24 from the field and Sadat had a nice game as well adding 13 points of his own. This was a tough matchup for them as they had no one to defend Zain. They need more from Elias who was drafted to be this team’s defacto big man. But since size isnt in their favor, their star backcourt has to BALL OUT! And I mean combine for 40-50 points. They might just need more if they have any hope of competing with Sana’a. |

Sloppy win, but nonetheless they no longer have a zero in the win column. Led by Sal and Yousef, Damascus hit timely shots down the stretch. It also helps when you attempt 14 more FT’s than your opponent. If this team wants to keep momentum going, Yaqob must learn to defer and not be as ball dominant. Newly acquired Yusef Elmonayery added 8 points and 10 rebounds and played a role in their first win. |

For the first time this season, they outrebound their opponents but on this night their Achilles heel was their shooting from 3. Amir, Malik and Raza combined to go 4-25, as they couldn’t find the bottom of the net. Despite the poor shooting percentages, you can’t fault their aggressiveness and shot selection. Big O was a much-needed addition as he had 13 points and 13 rebounds. This was their best chance at a W as they have the undefeated Islamabad squad up next. |

At one point in the second half the score was 45-35 and Dhaka seemed poised to make it a tight ball game. They then proceeded to score 4 minutes the remaining of the game and lose by 22, ouch. They were without the services of Ameer Koyas, but I am not sure if it would have made much of a difference. They need more out of their guards. Towfeek is playing out of position and performs much better when he doesn’t have to focus on facilitating. Omar Mana recording less than 10 rebounds is a stat that you don’t see often. Ed needs to be more aggressive as well as he and Towfeek are the primary ba |
