Defending champs are back and they don’t look to have many changes. Their core stayed intact, and it’s only right that they deserve the number one spot.

The return of the infamous Pete Brown! Mombasa had a pretty disappointing year last season, but with the addition of Mr. Brown, they look to become a top tier team once again.

Patrick and team made a couple adjustments to the roster, bringing in the other Ozoria brother to team up with Frank. Cody adds some much needed defense, but at the end of the day this looks like the same Kazan team everybody dreads playing. They will continue to be a top dog in the league.

Add Bilal to an already impressive Islamabad roster and you will absolutely have a top tier team. Zain is an all-around beast, and he made sure to let us know in the forums that Islamabad is coming for a championship. I believe him.

Ahmad, Ahmed, Ahmed, Ameed, Ahmad, none of it matters. Mo is back. Any team with that man on it deserves to be high on the ranking list. He is one of the best this league has seen, and hopefully he can return from injury strong.

AMP did his normal switch to the Cairo name, and brought basically the entire Palermo team with him. They were a top dog last season, and I don’t see this season being any different.

Same ‘ol Dhaka. Same ‘ol chemistry. Same ‘ol winning season coming up.

Will Rameez be able to fill Aymen’s large shoes? Aytac and team look for revenge after their early playoff knockout last season.

Jon DeJesus is back, and teaming up with Anas Najib is an awesome 1-2 punch. A couple of new guys with height, and some role players, and this team can absolutely make some noise.

The Omar’s are back, and they added Moayad to the mix. Some new guys and longtime Kazan hustle-man Frank look to make Damascus a team to be feared this season.

Same Beirut team as last year, with the addition of William, another big man. Will the one roster change bring them back to the championship team they once were?

Huge addition in signing long time Cordoba star, Kenny. Kenny and Steve will be a tough combo to guard, along with Ed missing 3s the entire game.

The return of Farhad! Does he have a place on MB Mt. Rushmore? Just kidding, Muj. We know it is 4 sculptures of just you.

Look for Moe and Tim to pick up the slack for the loss of Amir and Mark. Hopefully their new guys can help as well.

Mustafa is back and adds both Big O and Ahmed Elfayoumi. This team will be solid, but can they keep up with all the new young teams in the league?

Amir said, “I’m out!” He brings in a brand new team, mostly filled with rookies. Fez has a lot to prove. 7/20. Mark it on your calendars. Fez vs. Baghdad.

Kyseem and Hosam are back, and this time captain Omar has added some much needed new talent.

The loss of Abdelrahman will be huge. Mo Amin is back to doing things on his own. Unfortunately, in this league you need more than one guy. Tehran clearly knows how to scout talent, since they had the ROY last season, so maybe one of the new guys will stand out yet again.

I assume this is the same Aymen that left Suba. He decided to pull an Amir and start his own squad. He took Salim with him and brought in a bunch of new guys.

Not the same Medina. Jawad is solid. Who will lead this team?

Without a real “star,” I am not sure if this team will be able to keep up with the new level of competitiveness this league brings.

2nd season in, Kashgar looks to build from a very disappointing first season. This team now has a full season under their belt, and hopefully gained some chemistry.

Let’s hope they show up this season.
