It’s time for everyone to acknowledge the skill this team has on their roster and the amazing team mentality they have working so well for them. In a rematch of last year’s finals Amman gets their revenge using a huge second half performance and coming out on top, taking down a Mombasa squad that seemed so untouchable. Next game they take on a struggling Mecca squad that is trying desperately to get back to their winning ways. Should be interesting.

Trouble in the kingdom. Mombasa is dethroned of their number one ranking for the first time this season by a familiar foe. Their offense was clicking in the first half but a late run in the second half by Amman closed out the game and pushed Mombasa to their first loss since early last season. No reason to panic though with the remainder of their schedule looking relatively light. Next game they take on a struggling Suba squad, advantage Mombasa?

Pulled out a win in what was an ugly game for both teams. Was really anticipating a nice outing from both squads but neither delivered with both teams shooting atrociously under 30 percent. Not the performance I was expecting but a wins a win and this team has a tendency to find ways to pull out these grind out games. Next game they play Lahore whose offense has been on fire recently, they’re definitely going to need to get back to their old selves if they want to keep their undefeated streak alive.

Another week, another win with four players finishing with double digits. This team’s offense has been phenomenal, punishing opponents with their scoring. They play Alexandria after the bye week and can make it 4-0 if they just continue to shoot the way they’ve been shooting all season long.

Disappointing game out of this young squad. Expected more out of them and Dhaka but neither team had any player scoring in double digits, was really a hard game to watch. They’ve seen better days though and they take on a struggling Palermo squad after the bye week, they’re going to have to come out hungry and make sure they give everything they got.

What a game this was between Beirut and Mecca going into overtime and coming down to the wire. Nick Marquez was huge in this one finishing with 17 and hitting the game winner with one second to spare. Great feel good win for this team and it will be interesting to see if they can keep this streak going against Istanbul after the bye week.

Another great offensive performance out of this team. They just always seem to find a way to score the ball whether it be Anwar, Waqas, or Bilal with Bilal taking the reigns over in this win. They play Dhaka next game and this should definitely be an interesting one. If their offense puts up 60+ points again and they’re defense steps it up they have a real shot at taking this win.

Better performance than last game but they weren’t able to pull off a win and kept the door open for Beirut who took advantage and took the game. This is not the offense we’ve been accustomed to seeing out of Mecca the past few seasons. Obada Al-Tartir finished with a double double but the team as a whole had another bad shooting percentage. Something needs to change to help this team get back on track. They take on an undefeated Amman squad next game and they are going to have to find a solution to these offensive woes if they want to get the win and get back on track.

Another win over another struggling team. They’re now 3-0 but against a combined record of 1-8 in their first three games. This is not to take anything away from them but they have yet to be pushed by a winning team and I would love to see their great play translate against a tougher opponent. They get the chance to do just that next game against Beirut who is hot and coming off a nice win.

Thought they’d have a better chance against Istanbul this week but they just couldn’t get into a flow. 0-3 now but they have a chance to get on the winning side of things if they can take advantage of these next two games against struggling Kashgar and Suba teams.

Close game early on but used a run late in the game to push away and come away with the big win. Mahdi Masri finally found his stroke finishing with 19 & 7. Definitely needed this win to get them back on track but things look to only get harder from here with a matchup against an undefeated Cordoba squad awaiting them after the bye week. Cordoba has been an offensive powerhouse so far this season so Alexandria’s going to need to play their best basketball to have a chance at pulling this one off.

Just when things were looking up for this squad things got ugly again. They kept the game close with Alexandria but fell asleep in the second half and were blown out of the water with a late game run. Next game they take on a Granada squad that is also coming off a loss but if their defense doesn’t step it up they can be looking at back to back losses.

For some reason this team remains winless. Brett Bially finished with an insane game of 31 & 16. Their opponents thus far are 8-1 so we can cut them some slack. If they play the way they’ve been playing I’m almost positive they’ll get their first win next game when they take on a winless Riyadh squad.

Finally got a win against Kashgar pulling away in the second half. Bad news is two out of three of their last opponents are Mombasa and Beirut. They’re going to have to give it all they have if they want to win again this season. I think they can manage at least 1 win if they play to the best of their capability.

Just overly disappointed with this team. There is potential but not enough effort. Next game they take on another winless team where they might be able to finally get on the winning column; but make no mistake if the effort is as low as it’s been the past few games they’ll be the ones remaining winless while Sarajevo will be celebrating its first win.

Had a chance to win against another winless team but came up short once again. Next week they play another winless team and that will really be their last chance to stay away from the 16 seed. Otherwise, they are a shoe in to end up locked in that position by the end of the season.
