Week 8 4-4 5

Tulkarem kept this game close throughout, and though they lost, there were some bright spots. Aaron finally looking to score which is definitely going to be needed if they're even going to have a chance at beating Khan Yunis. Minhaj scored 10 which we don't see often, and Subhan grabbed 11 boards??? That's crazy. Going to be an exciting matchup next week.

Week 7 4-3 4

Heem the Dream lead the way with 19 points on 50% shooting and 5-7 from three. Board man Aaron finally gets paid with his own 14 and 10. Can they beat Rafah next week and topple them in the power rankings? Stay tuned for another episode of Muslim Basketball to find out!

Week 6 3-3 4

Tulkarem proved to us no matter how much time is left on the clock, they still got that fight in them. They chipped away at Rafah’s lead late in the second half, but unfortunately for them couldn’t squeeze out the win. Raheem lead the way with 18 points on 50% shooting. They need to do a better job of taking care of the ball, because as we saw here those late game turnovers likely cost them the game. Or wait, maybe it was Subhan forgetting his jersey that cost them…

With Aaron back in action, there’s no doubt that they can go head to head against any team in the league.

Week 5 3-2 4

Starting the game with 4 players obviously wasn't too much of a problem for Tulkarem as they still managed to come out with a W against a pesky Ajjur team. Talha and Aaron came to ball with both pouring in a solid 17 and 16 pts respectively. This team is as unselfish as they come, as you'll see all 5 guys touch the ball almost every time down the court. No wonder they lead the league in Assists Per Game.

Can we please start running the Subhan-Aaron pick and roll? We'd like to see some primetime CP3 and Blake Griffin action around here.

Week 4 2-2 3

Tulkarem's victory can be attributed to a stellar performance from Subhan Wajid, who not only led with 19 points but also grabbed crucial rebounds. His leadership on the court is complemented by Talha Ijaz, whose versatility shone through in his stat line. The team's collective resilience and ability to execute under pressure allowed them to emerge victorious, signaling to the rest of the league that they are a formidable opponent capable of upsets.

Week 3 1-2 5

A hard fought defeat this week against Yazur gives Tulkarem their second loss of the season, but do not count this team out. Playing shorthanded (0 subs, lacking Aaron and Amil) against the best team in the league is definitely no easy feat, especially when Aaron and Amil are big contributors to this team. By the end of the game, they were playing with 4 players because Raheem (16 Pts, 4 Reb, 4 Ast, 1 Stl), their leading scorer, fouled out. Great stat lines from the entire team, showing the strength of everyone wearing a Tulkarem jersey. Talha Ijaz (12 Pts, 6 Reb, 3 Ast, 3 Stl) and Subhan Wajid (9 Pts, 7 Reb, 4 Ast) with some poor shooting, but they didn't let that count them out. They contributed on both ends of the floor as best as they can and almost came home with the win. Look for Tulkarem to have a bounce back game against Al-Balah next week.

Week 2 1-1 4

This team fills up the stat sheet leading the league in assists per game and coming in second in both rebounding and points per game. This team can easily jump to the top of the rankings with a strong win next week.
