Week 9 6-3 7

It’s tough to rank this team after what happened last week.Their schedule has been difficult, but they also lost to 3 teams ranked ahead of them, which is why they sit at 7 for now. Things weren’t looking great, especially because this team is defending champions and aspirations are high, but there was no better way to end the regular season. Now they have to hope that things have come together in time for a big matchup against Baysan.

Week 8 5-3 8

Let’s Ride.

Week 7 5-2 5

Free Moose! I don’t want to ever see a boxscore where Musa Yanes is not leading the team in shot attempts. I think only a handful of guys in the league deserve that kind of respect and Mr. Yanes is one of them. Still, props to Ramla for containing the superstar big but regardless, buddy is 6’3 with a handle and scat. Who knows maybe had he shot more, it would have been a different story.

Week 6 5-1 3

Contender!

Week 5 4-1 3

Big Moose was out there doing Big Moose things last night. 20 points, 9 rebounds 3 assists and one block. AK added 18, Jay Wiggins with 11, with the remaining supporting cast locking up defensively. Not to sound like a broken record, but the beauty of this team is that they all know their roles and embrace it.

Week 4 3-1 3

Won by forfeit so let’s keep em at numero tres.

Week 3 2-1 3

Down 2 spots, but they certainly can’t be mad at themselves. AK and Big Moose provided the scoring as they totaled 35 of the team’s 54. Quiet game from high flier Jay Wiggins but props to Sabra and their game plan. Looking at Qalqilya’s remaining schedule, there is no doubt in my mind they could start a new win streak and be a top seed heading into the playoffs. But I strongly recommend they don’t play down to their competition, as we have seen a few upsets ruin seasons.

Week 2 2-0 1

Is anyone honestly surprised??? This team doesn’t seem to lose. The last time the Yanes brothers and Jay Wiggins lost a game together was 12/14/2022…… That was almost a year ago! Big Moose led the way in this one with a team high 18 points. They’ve opened the season against two of the league’s best and their schedule doesn’t get any easier with Sabra up next.

Week 1 1-0 1

Welp, looks like they are picking up right where they left off. Insert Anssoumane Kande in the Wajid role and could it be possible that they improved?!?!? The rookie had a stellar debut with 18 and 7 and went 4-9 from 3. Jay Wiggins led all scorers with 26 points and Big Moose got in on the fun with a 10 and 11. The Yanes brothers are in midseason form with 55 claps per minute. Jokes aside the defensive backcourt made life difficult for the Al-Bireh guards. Defense wins championships and this team certainly prides themselves on that, and clapping. I swear I’m done lol.

Preseason 0-0 3

The last time we saw the majority of this team together, the were holding up the trophy. Since then Musa Yanes decided to add some more hardware to his fast growing collection. The two-time champ rejoins his brothers and good friend Jay Wiggins. This team is going to be a menace defensively as they typically like to full court press teams and use their athleticism to get up and down the basketball court. All I ask from you guys, is to keep the nonstop clapping at home.
