Week 7 6-1 3

MVP of the season, Joseph Capone. Sounds like a dude from the Sopranos, right? Back to basketball, dude averaged 21.5 ppg, on close to 51% shooting, and hit a few timely buckets down the stretch. Oh, and he took a mediocre Sana’a team and made them legit contenders. Clayton got his Duncan Robinson on and led the league with 4.7 3 point makes per game. This team lives and dies by the 3-point line but hey it hasn’t failed them yet. Recap: MVP and ROTY aint a bad way to introduce yourself to the league.

Week 6 5-1 2

In the NFL, teams get a bye week. In MB, teams get a bye month. Amman, Granada and whoever they play in the first round. Their second half total practically matched that of Amman’s final score. They had 3 guys score 30 plus. Joseph Capone is the clear run-away winner for Rookie of the Year and has quite the case for MVP. I don’t see them putting up 146 on Granada but I can def see another Ben Franklin.

Week 5 4-1 6

It’s difficult to go undefeated in the regular season. It’s also extremely difficult to beat Dhaka. Quite game from scoring leaders Joseph and Clayton. Dhaka may have given the league the formula to beating these guys.

Week 4 4-0 3

Sana’a, I owe you guys an apology. Not only did you prove me wrong and defeat what most claim to be a contending Medina squad, but you did it after facing a 7-point deficit with just over a minute remaining in regulation. CB Garrett hit the game tying 3 to send it into the first overtime and Joseph Capone took over from there. Capone flashed his skillset and hit the acrobatic game winning layup in sudden death overtime. Scary part is they shot 27% from 3 and still scored 62. You now have the league on notice.

Week 3 3-0 3

Shot nearly 50% as a team from the great beyond, outrebounded their opponent by 15, not to mention their first half total, matched that of Suba’s final score…. Sana’a is cooking. The only reason I don’t have them higher is due to their inferior competition the past two weeks. Clayton and Joseph combined for 55 points on 12-23 from 3! They have the shooters and playmakers, but can they defend against top teams? We shall find out these next two weeks.

Week 2 2-0 6

I do not want to come across as a hater, but their 2-0 record is overrated. First win was against a Bukhara squad that had an imposter disguised as Billal, and this past win was against a bottom tier team. They will most likely start the season 3-0 and could even finish the season amongst the top of the standings. I know you guys didn’t create the schedule, but I call em’ like I see em’. Looking at their remaining matchups, their real tests are Week 4 and 5. Beat either of those two teams and you have the league on notice.

Week 1 1-0 9

After hovering around .500 last season Sana’a came out swinging against one of if not, the most formidable defensive team in the league.
