I want to take this time to highlight the extraordinary coaching career of Towfeek Hamza. He led his team to two playoff appearances and a championship. But ultimately, Towfeek is a far better hooper than coach and that is saying a lot! Joining him in the backcourt is none other than MB champ Shafic, who is one of the more talented guards across the league. Amir Hassan & Koyas are no slouches as they both have shown they can score 20 points on any given night and rumor has it that Mohammed Alzubidi is the second coming of Joel Embid. I expect this team to be very good.

Ammar Mustafa gathered the Avengers for this season.  Assembling Joseph Capone, Singer & Mahrooz is extremely impressive. That is a heck of a trio! Rounding out the rest of the roster are Samna, Salman and  Moe Dirt. They have a plethora of scoring and size upfront. I always knew Avengers Endgame wasn’t their last act.

The last time we saw the majority of this team together, the were holding up the trophy. Since then Musa Yanes decided to add some more hardware to his fast growing collection. The two-time champ rejoins his brothers and good friend Jay Wiggins. This team is going to be a menace defensively as they typically like to full court press teams and use their athleticism to get up and down the basketball court. All I ask from you guys, is to keep the nonstop clapping at home.

So apparently this team was already constructed back in 2019, prior to Hassan and Mahdi even thinking about MB. Jokes aside, this team is extremely young and talented. Hassan Chaabane is a top 5 player in the league, with Mahdi not being too far behind. Omar Sehwail had flashes before his season ended prematurely due to injury last season and the other Chaabane bloodline ain’t too shabby himself. Ahmad Abid was a very good addition, as he can compete with most big men in this league. Excited to see these guys hoop.

Weiss brings back the usual team, led by Raza, Pete Brown and Mo Masri. The addition of Ty Jackson seems to have the league questioning where Weiss continues to find these star-studded players. If there's anything we have learned over the years, is that Masta Weiss' led teams are always contenders.

This team was designed for Lil O & Mustafa Abbassi. Amir C tore the league up last season and reminded us all that he is a certified scorer. Now, he is joined by the best shooter in the league in Lil Omar Abbassi. With the supporting cast being made up of bigs who rebound and fight for second chance points. They have three legit scorers and boy they can all shoot.

“Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa”, that’s the sound a GOAT makes for anyone that wasn’t aware. Abdelhadi is back and headlines this squad with the Zubi brothers in the backcourt along with Moe Amin upfront. The x-factor for this squad will be the development of Medo Zubi, as he showed glimpses of the player he could be. This team should be able to garner some wins and make some noise.

GM Ahmad Saleh should never be counted out as we have seen from previous seasons and this season is no different. Will Omar Mana and Shahzaib be the MB’s version of Joel and Harden? Omar Mana is one of the league’s best but I want to see him expand his game as a facilitator and get others involved. With the amount of double teams that he commands, 3-6 assists per game should not be a tall task for the big man.

After taking a season off, Kareem Ahmed is back and he brought friends. Omar H and Omar Qasem are unofficially peanut butter and jelly, since you can’t have one without the other. Muhannad Deeb has left his beloved cousin, in what he hopes leads to greener grass. The most intriguing piece is the addition of Deep Patel who is a solid point guard and will look to orchestrate the offense and look to get everyone going. Nice job brother Kareem.

Rumor has it that they added Aadil, so they have a viable 1-2 punch with him and Nader. The last time we saw this squad they put together a solid season with quite a few upset wins, so I think the league is on notice now.

This team looks excellent on paper. Two star big men, shooting in Sal & Idris and a guard in Sohaib who can run the show. If Zain is healthy, this team will skyrocket up the rankings and could be among the league’s very best.

This may seem a little low, but hear me out. Farhad is a stud and we are all aware of that. He is most likely a top 3 MB player of all time and he sure as heck isnt third. As for the rest of the cast mates, there are a lot of questions that need to be answered. Who is the second scorer? Is it Ed, is it Tariq? Will the new faces be able to contribute right away? For now, outside of the top 10 isn’t too bad.

Coach Abdelghani brings back a familiar squad with some new additions in Raj Patel and Jake. Last we saw Ian Felix he was a 20 ppg scorer and was causing havoc for defenses. They have shooting but their achilles heel may be size but what do I know, I write Power Rankings for a living.

Welcome back A-Fay and Big O. Two MB OG’s and lowkey Goats. The rest of the roster are some new names so not sure what else I could say.

Some MB OG’s on this team and thankfully for me, I don’t have anything recent to write about.

Welcome back Abdul Mutaleb! For anyone not aware this dude is the definition of a “bucket”! The second he steps on the court, you can pencil in 26 points, MINIMUM! Not too familiar with the remaining cast members but we will found out soon enough.

Some solid MB vets, but not sure who the “guy” is on this team. Again PR is temporary so for all I know, they could be in the top 10 this time next week.

Sorry Hasnan, but it’s only temporary.
