Sana'a versus Jerusalem

Sana'a was playing without Salman Choudry and Youssef Abdelalim while Jerusalem was missing Victor Robinson and Ali Yousaf. The game was back and forth for the majority of the first half with a lot of bad passes and sloppy play from Sana'a. Walid Tahir hit a few runners in the lane to keep the game close, but Jerusalem closed out on an ~8-0 run to take a 32-24 lead into halftime. Second half, the deficit quickly got up to 10-12 points, but Sana'a started hitting some shots. However, Ammar Idelbi's rebounding gave Jerusalem a lot of second chances with Sana'a going one-and-done often. Any shots Sana'a hit, Jerusalem countered to sustain an 8 point margin. Sana'a botched several fast break opportunities, at which point they realize the game is there if they willed. They ramped up the D and forced several turnovers in the last 3 minutes to cut it to 1 point. Andre hit 2 free throws to go up 52-49 and Sana'a had the ball with about 24 seconds left. A missed three went out of bounds with possession for Jerusalem. However, their inbounds was intercepted yet again, giving Sana'a another chance for a 3 at the buzzer, but it was emphatically blocked by Moustafa Badreldin. Great game overall, both teams played hard.

Damascus vs Islamabad: The game was going back and forth in the beginning. Damascus played a zone defense against Islamabad in the first half, however Haris swished couple 3's giving them small leads. By the end of second half Damascus ended it with a 8 pt cushion. Damascus switched it up to man starting second half, and forced Islamabad to make a lot of costly turnovers resulting in instant fast-break offense. Damascus shot a sizzling 50% (9-18) from beyond the Arc. Damascus' shooters stretch the floor alot, making gaps in the defense for their slashers to penetrate, if they aren't shooting the 3 ball they're penetrating for a mid range shot or slashing to the rim. While Damascus doesn't get too many rebounds in a single game, they're strength is in how many steals they get averaging 16 steals a game.
Let your game do the talking.

Ammar had 2 clutch blocks to prevent Sanaa from getting any leads. Great D. It came close at the end but Jerusalem pulled out the W.

Walid was on fire too!

Iztanbul vs. Bagdad

Bagdad started on a 12 to 2 run. They were hitting their jumpshot especially barry. Muhannad and Ahmed were getting to the rim. We fought our way back and hit a 3 pointer at the buzzer to close within 1.

Second half, was fun. Bagdad went on a 8-0 run and then we went on an 8-0 run to come within one point. We stayed in the game because we were able to hit a couple of three pointers. With less than 20 seconds left, game tied at 52, Bagdad hit a two pointer to go up 2. We had a chance to tie but missed a 15 foot jumpshot, and quickly fouled for a 1 and 1 fre throw. They missed we got a chance to tie but missed again. We were able to get a steal and then we got fouled for a 1 and 1, but missed the first free throw.

Bagdad go the ball back but turned the ball over. With less than 3 seconds left, we shot a three pointer but got tipped and missed.

overrall it was a good game by bof teams
