1a. (2) Fez (4-2)- Took out Bukhara without the Defensive MVP, impressive.
1b. (4) Mecca (5-1)- Made some big plays late and buckled down on D to upend Istanbul.
3. (1) Bukhara (4-2)- Tough loss to Fez, they should take it to the basket more, settling for too many 3s.
4. (3) Istanbul (4-2)- Suddenly Istanbul has a 2-game losing streak going - still toughest matchup down-low by far.
5. (7) Damascus (4-2)- In the absence of a Big, Raji stepped up with 17 rebounds.
6. (5) Kabul (3-3)- Looking at the boxscore, its hard to figure how they lost. Still a defensive nightmare for any team.
7. (6) Medina (3-3)- Ardell is carrying the load, someone else will need to step up.
8. (10) Baghdad (3-3)- This team is playing much better, great barometer coming up with Istanbul.
9. (8) Cairo (2-4)- Still havent seen the Isaiah/Champ tandem very often - theyll be tough to contain.
10. (12) Jerusalem (1-5)- Jobe has this team on the rise, shocked Kabul - can Mecca contain both Diaz and Jobe?
11. (9) Islamabad (2-4)- Developing into a streaky team, they can beat anyone any night but need more consistency.
12. (11) Cordoba (1-5)- Still waiting for someone other than Ariel to make an impact.

Fez is getting a lot of "points" for "good losses" to Istanbul and Kabul. Lets not forget Mecca lost in a tight game without its only premier ball handler - and with a guy who showed up for a total of 1 game and was completely out-of-sync during the game.
