PLAYOFFS?!?

We are finally here. Sorry for the late predictions, but it has been a pretty busy week for me. Y'all know the disclaimer. Stop being so soft. Get over it. Prove me wrong. Let's not waste any time.

Cordoba vs Lahore - No team wants to face Lahore first round. They are not an easy out, and we knew as the season went on that a top team would have to face them based off their record. With that being said, Cordoba ain't an easy out either. Cordoba just has too many weapons for Lahore. This will be a way closer game than your normal 1 vs 16 seed. Dare I say, Lahore will lose by 3?

Sana'a vs Granada - It is unfortunate that Granada can never have a full team, because with Omar, Omar, Moiz, and Anas all present, they are a solid team. They have only played one game together all season. Now the really sad part is that one game they played together they played Sana'a, and that was last week, and they still lost by 16. With that being said, unless Sana'a is missing their key players, I can't see them losing this game. Sana'a by 10+ again.

Bukhara vs Islamabad - I tip my cap to the Bukhara squad. They have a group of my favorite people in MB, and they beat us even though we were up 5 with 40 seconds left and possession. I won't talk about who we were missing, it is what it is. We should have won regardless. Now to the matchup against Shah. They played pretty well in his absence, but they absolutely need him there today to stand a chance against the defensive monster Bukhara. Even with a full team, I got Bukhara in a very close one.

Kazan vs Amman - CAN'T WAIT. Coming fresh off a heartbreaking loss, Tex and team are out for blood. Yes, I am speaking in third person! They say its bad luck to talk about your own game, especially in the playoffs. You don't want to jinx it right? Y'all know me better than that. Not only will Kazan win, we will win convincingly. Score will be somewhere around 95-18. Give or take.

Baghdad vs Jakarta - Jakarta desperately needs the fountain of youth. I can't see them coming close to beating Baghdad here. Nick Francis had a helluva year, but unfortunately it comes to an end this week. They are going to need everyone they had last week plus Kenny to even have the slightest chance of winning. I don't see an upset happening here. Baghdad by a lot.

Dhaka vs Medina - This one is really tough for me. I am actually going to go with the upset here and choose Medina. They are listed with 3 losses. One was a forfeit, and the two other losses came to the number 1 and 2 ranked teams in the league, and they only lost by 3 points in each of those games. That is really impressive. Zain and Dhaka ain't no slouches, though. Give me Medina by 1.

Tripoli vs Beirut - Is Luis playing?! The question everybody asks before they make a Beirut prediction. I have no idea, but I don't care if Beirut has 3 guys playing, I am still picking my boys. Last time they played the game went into double OT, and that was without Luis.

Alexandria vs Palermo - Both teams are essentially coming off of bye weeks. Palermo got a forfeit W, and Alexandria played Delhi. I am unsure how Delhi came so close to beating Alexandria. That isn't the way they want to head into the playoffs. Sha-feek are going to do what they do, but they desperately need Kevin, Jason, or Syed to step up. Either way, I am going with Palermo by 8.

Playoffs babyyy!!!! Time to see who’s got the Ice In their Veins!

Cordoba vs Lahore: 1 vs 16 seed what a way to kick of MB Madness 👀. Lahore as everyone has mentioned is a great 16 seed Moayad, Hassan and mana Can all play with the best of them. The X factor in this game is gonna be MB rookie Hassan Chaabane he’s gotta be the consistent 3rd option for Lahore to keep up with Córdoba Multitude of weapons. I expect MB vets Pat,Chris and unsung hero frank Ozoria to do there thing and of course we can’t forget scary Gary. P.S If Omar mana actually rolled on the pick and roll Lahore would MB champs but we know that’s not happening . In the end I got cordoba in a close one by 6. Hassan prove me wrong like Billlal!! No pressure

Sana’a vs Granada: A rematch of last weeks matchup, both teams probably beginning to read each other’s tendencies. As long as The kyrie wannabes OQ and Anas Najib come again, this is lining up to be a tight one as well. I except big games from Singer,OQ,Anas maybe Kyrie will rub off on them and they’ll have 60 combined. On the other side Sana’a been a well oiled Machine this Seosan and even though there reliance on the 3 could be there Achilles heel, so far they show no signs of slowing down. Capone, Clayton and the boys r doing there thing and there gonna put the league on notice today. I got Sana’a by 10.

Bukhara vs Islamabad: ooofff Billal Aka the brick wall Abbasi vs Shaz “ Thirty piece” Khan. That’s gonna be a fun one to watch for 40 min for bragging rights. Islamabad have shown glimpses of being a formidable squad. Amir and Aadil combined for 50+ last week in Shaz absence which shows they are capable of getting buckets when called upon. There gonna need that same Confidence today playing an exprienced Abbasi team that never beats themselves. The Abbasi’s are basically the Patriots of MB. They don’t make mistakes and they wait for u to beat urself. That’s what Islamabad can’t do. No stupid turnovers, transition 3s and things of that nature . They just have to play there games and the shots will come.
P.S Whoever is guarding Lil O abbasi for your sake please start stretching from now cause ur gonna have a long night . In the end I got Bukhara by 8.

Kazan vs Amman: I mean not much to say here, shout-out to Omar Hussein for a great seosan dudes a baller but unless he has a 50pt lebron performance his team has no shot. Tex and the boys are gonna take care of business picking and choosing which guy wants to break a 3 point makes record tonight. I got them by 20+.

Baghdad vs Jakarta: Commissioner ED team continues to disappoint me more and more as the Season goes on, almost losing to an Islamabad team with no Shaz is very suspect and does not give me any Confidence. Unless ED and Kenny turn back the clock, I expect a very routine win for the defending chips. I will say they are gonna need a lot more from Tim Brown if there gonna want to repeat, He’s gonna have to bring a time machine of his own and bring back the clock a couple of years for Baghdad to rlly be the team that we all expect them to be.

Dhaka vs Medina: In my opinion the Game of the week. Both teams can score on all 3 levels and play make with the best of them. Brandon Steward has been ballin out and he’s gonna have to have another big time Performance for Medina to pull off the upset. On the other hand and
Big Z and the Dhaka crew have been ballin all Seosan. I’m gonna move past Last weeks uncharacteristic loss and give them the benefit of the doubt. In the end I think this is gonna come down to who’s gonna be a bigger presence downlow on the 2nd chance opportunities. Brandon vs SaL is gonna be a matchup to watch. The winner of that matchup will Give snipers Malik.Sal and Idris second chance opportunities to capitalize
In the end I am also going with the upset, I got Medina in a nail biter by two.

Tripoli Vs Beirut: Last time both teams played we had the MB game of the Seosan and I expect things to be just as close tonight in a must win game for both teams. Beirut coming off a huge win against Dhaka definitely is a great way to come into the playoffs on the other Tripoli is coming off a tough loss against a solid Medina Team. Of course as Tex said is Luis “ Ski Mask” Torres gonna make an appearance. Honestly I don’t believe so and with that I don’t think Beirut is gonna have enough fire power to stop this team. Ali And Jake have been ballin out and I expect a big performance from Newcomer Jariel. Tripoli Just has too many weapons for Beirut to guard and In the End I got them winning by 9.

Palermo vs Alexandria: In the words of Chris Tex : “ Big Moose idk who that is, never heard of him” 🤷‍♂️
