Another win and another great game for Anas Zubi who led the way with 24 and hasn’t scored less than 20 this season. Teams have not been able to find a way to stop him and as long as he keeps leading this squad offensively they won’t have much to worry about. They finish the season off against a struggling Riyadh team that ranks 13th in points per game. We can all see which direction this one seems to be heading.

These guys have also been scary good with their offense.  Farzad Messag put up another big game and lead the way with 25. This team has a chance of finishing the season undefeated next week when they take on a soaring Beirut squad who is physically bigger than them. They’ll need to find an answer for Beirut’s post play if they want to grab another win and head into the playoffs 4-0.

LAST WK: 3

Great bounce back win with 4 players scoring in double digits, it was close in the first half but they blew it open in the second. Seems like they’re feeling comfortable again after a tough loss last week. Next week they take on a Granada squad who’s defense has been on point lately. They’ll need to counter that if they want to end the season with a win heading into the great ole playoffs.

Great bounce back win for this squad, they’re defense did not let up and was impressive throughout the game. Shadi Dahduli finished with a big 14&18 game and Omar Singer added on 17&9. These two have been leading this team on offense lately and they’ll need to continue that streak if they want to win next week against Mombasa.

Big time win agaist Jakarta, Walter Bravo led the way with 28. This team plays with no subs but they’re offense has been on point as of late shooting nearly 50 percent from the field this week! Next week they take on a weaker Suba squad that they should be able to dominate offensively if they play the way they’ve been playing as of late.

LAST WK: 7

Great win over a young Amman squad, Nick Marquez hit some big shots down the stretch and Jon Mingo led the way with 16&10. This was a feel good win and was just what they needed to prepare them for a big matchup against another young Dhaka squad who have playing out of their minds as of late. They’ll need to slow down that offensive juggernaut or Dhaka will take over the game quickly.

Just another tough loss, they couldn’t come out on top in the end. Billal Abbassi has gotten a double double every game this season and led the way with 17&11. It’s tough losing these close games, they’re offense has been on point but they’re defense needs to be a little more aggressive to get them back on track. They have a much easier matchup next week against Kashgar and should use that game to get themselves in the right mindset for the playoffs.

Back to back 70 point games, this team’s offense has been insane lately. Waqas Ahmad had a monster game finishing with 21 & 18and Anwar Ahmad added along 20 & 6. With these guys leading the team this way this team can go very far in the playoffs. Although their last two opponents are at the bottom of the league you can’t take away from the amazing offense they’ve been showing lately.

LAST WK: 10

Back to back wins now for this squad and they got to be feeling better about themselves. Ammar Shahid and Abdul-Rahman Husain led the way both barely missing double doubles. Next week they finish the regular season off with a Tehran squad that has had struggles of its own. They have a good chance of finishing the season with their third consecutive win if they’re offense shows up the way it did this week.

Kabul

LAST WK: 5

They were making their shots on offense but couldn’t get enough stops on defense to win this game. Mecca was a tough matchup but their defense needed to be a little more agressive this week for sure. Next week they take on an 0-3 Cairdo squad that’s really been struggling offensively, if they can just work harder on defense they should win this one and gain some confidence back heading into the playoffs.

LAST WK: 8

Fought really hard to take over this game but in the end Beirut’s offense made too many big shots down the stretch. Their second loss of the season but both losses came to top tier teams and were both decided in the final minutes of the game. Omar Qasem with another good all around game finishing with 15-8-6 but this team needs to find a way to close against these top tier teams if they want to make a deep playoff run. Next week they take on a Delhi squad whose offense has been soaring as of late, they have to find a way to slow them down to take that game.

Not a pretty offensive performance and another loss coming off a loss last week. Next week they take on a Mecca squad who has been tearing through anyone coming their way. They’re going to need a gameplan to slow down that offense or they’ll finish the season with a third consecutive loss.

LAST WK: 13

Impressive first half for this squad really pushing Mombasa and hanging in with them but they let up in the second half and it got out of hand from there. Next week they take on a Sana’a squad that’s coming off their second straight win and is hungry for a third. If they can just play the way they played that first half this week on a regular basis they should be able to win more games.

Suba

LAST WK: 12

Not a good defensive performance for this squad allowing Dhaka to put up 71 on them. They’re offense was okay this week but they’re defense just wasn’t there. Beating a soaring Cordoba next week is a tough ask but they’re going to have to find a way to get it done or they’ll be looking at a third straight loss to end the regular season.

LAST WK: 15

Another loss and an 0-3 hole they’re going to have to dig themselves out of. Double doubles by Amre Hamouda and Hanny Hillal but the team’s shooting percentages just have not been great. They’re last chance at a win in the regular season comes against a Kabul squad who’s coming off a rough loss themselves.

Kashgar

LAST WK: 16

They’re offense was okay this week but their defense seemed nonexistent. Kenny Tansey has been having a good season and led the way with 26&6 today. It’s hard to imagine this team doing much in the playoffs and they finish the regular season off against a hungry Jakarta squad. Unless they make some drastic changes I don’t see much coming from this team.
