Thursday October 9, 2014 8pm #4 Timbuktu vs #8 AlexandriaRematch of the LAST game of the season. It was a low-scoring, sloppy game. Both teams escaped a tough first round matchup. Alexandria plays little to 0 defense and Timbuktu always plays down to their competition. This game will come down to whoever has the higher FG%. 9pm#2 Tripoli vs #3 BukharaRematch of the FIRST game of the season. Both teams have continued to play solid and beat some of the better teams in the league. The 4 guards in this game can all cancel each other out with big/small numbers (Ed/Muj, Afay/Moose). I think this game will come down to the battle of the big(s). Can Rajab out-produce Omar and Jason? Jason had a monster game last week with 28pts and 10rebs. Timbuktu lives or dies by the 3 line unless they come out blazing and continue.. Tripoli will win it! (even though Timbuktu probably will work harder for it). Tripoli have a self defense mechanism called Mujtaba. |
