Hats off to Granada. They gave us all we could handle. Thanks to a couple Anwar and O Singer steals they jumped out to an early lead. The game pretty much went back and forth - excellent defensive strategies and hustle by both teams, and both sides had to work hard to put up points. Ameer was red hot hitting 9 of 10, and O Singers floaters were unstoppable. Dhaka was able to take the lead for good with about 6 or 7 minutes left in the second half. Farzad got hot and Granada’s defense either suffered from some fatigue or else some miscommunications I’m not sure. Ali made a couple steals which led to transition buckets and we were able to build a comfortable lead, and then ice the game with free throws. Granada has definitely jelled after a couple shaky games to start the season. Definitely a complete team with improving chemistry, look for them to come back strong next season.

Didn't see the other games but wow Amman with another upset, and Islamabad just got past Sarajevo
