Salaam Captains, We hope this message reaches you in the best of health insha’Allah. Muslim Basketball is committed to prioritizing the health and safety of our community. The recent emergence of the Omicron variant has resulted in a highly infectious wave, and while we hope that everyone has received their latest recommended level of immunization, we strive to make the most prudent decision that is safe, transparent, and inclusive of our players’ feedback. While we’d love to get back to the courts as soon as possible, we have decided to delay the start of the season until January 27. This will result in the shortening of the season to 7 games (team fee will be reduced to $1,065). We will continue to assess the situation, and appreciate player feedback in these decisions.
