Week 9 6-3 8

They’ve given up 50+ only twice this season, but have lost both times. The defense is there, but that offense is not doing enough. Joe P did his thing, but they couldn’t get much else. Mo Amin needs to be the offensive catalyst for this group - he’s too tough to guard one on one in the post, feed him and create kick out opportunities. He needs to be a 15 point 10 rebound guy for this team to get to the next level.

Week 8 6-2 7

Ugly, but a win is a win. Made Islamabad look very pedestrian, didn’t allow them to get into any rhythm, and were flat out dominant defensively. They need to get their own offense going, though - being a bottom 5 offensive team will not get you very far.

Week 7 5-2 7

Another team that needed some late game heroics to beat what should have been an underwhelming opponent. Bottom line though, is that they made the shot they needed to in order to win - that matters.

Week 6 4-2 8

Couldn't match up well enough with Luke to keep him from making his mark on the game. They have plenty of size, but seem uncomfortable playing against equally big teams.

Week 5 4-1 5

If it wasn’t for a week 1 smacking, they would have the top ranked defense. They have arguably the best defensive backcourt and have shown that they can stop the leagues top players. They’re offense isn’t going to put up massive numbers, but if each guy can hit and extra shot or two, they’ll significantly stretch their margin of victory.

Week 4 3-1 7

Pretty tremendous team effort to hold Sana’a to 35 and Abdul to just 5 points. Cody and Joe harassed Abdul all game, making it very difficult to get going, and more importantly, they kept him from getting to the free throw line. Joe P also made his presence felt on the offense end, leading all scorers and making the correct decisions to make the most out of each and every Tehran procession. After a bad week 1 loss, Tehran looks to be finding their groove, but they don’t look anywhere near what their potential is. If this team keeps building week to week, they’ll be a behemoth at the end of the season.

Week 3 2-1 10

This is what we expected now. Mo Amin back to his normal double double, efficient self. There’s still some growing pains with this group, but they have the whole package to challenge everyone in this league.

Week 2 1-1 12

Got a much needed win after a bad week 1 performance. They looked much more comfortable than they did previously and Mo Amin looked like himself. Joe P and Cody give opposing guard fits, Mo and Joe Z tower under the hoop - not an easy group to score on.

Week 1 0-1 12

That was not good. Thought Mo Amin would be a seamless fit into what they try to do, but it seemed forced to start the year. He took shots he didn’t look comfortable taking and everyone else seemed a bit passive. They’re a big team, not really a spread and shoot game. Cannot try to outshoot a teams, especially the likes on Mecca. They need to slow games down, keep teams to 40 points, and own the paint.
