Lagos over Tripoli
Lagos look to be in control from start to finsih. Really pulled away in teh second half. Big 21 points for Mike S. 3-14 for Anthony, but 13 Assists. Weiss with the Breakout double double. Andres 25 wasnt enough, as Tripoli shot only 23%.
Islamabad over Dhaka
These two teams are very evenly matched. In the end, it came down to fatigue. Islamabad was ismply able to outlast Dhaka for the win. Huge game for Islam Abbassi who had 23 points, many of which came in the second half, helping his team stretch a lead. Istanbul over Dhaka.
Istanbul over Damascus
Damascus started off hot, Dola gave Istanbul trouble down low, but a late first half run helped out Istanbul. Damascus had a better second half than Istanbul. Yusuf Jaaber can ball. Extremely fundamental and aggressive. He along with the help of others, gave Damascus the lead for a rief period towards the end of the game, butIstanbul stepped up the intensity and closed out the game well.
Baghdad over Jakarta
Baghdad started off the game on a 17-0 run. They played aggressive D on Mujtaba. Elvis did work down low.
Timbuktu over Jerusalem
Both teams shot a low percentage. Jerusalem had no player in double digits.
Sana'a over Kazan
This game went down to the wire. Nick D gave Sana'a a big push to start off the first half. Both Jons on Kazan had big games as well. Poor execution down the stretch by Kazan, and a few key defesnive plays by Sana'a sealed the win.

no doubt u guys shared the ball well and our age (oldest team in the league probably) showed in the second half with all the fast break points we allowed. Good game and hope 2 c u in the playoffs

Rajab is a force. We had no answer for him. If we boxed him out a couple more times or kept him out of the play, we could have had the win. But he's relentless and goes for every ball on every play. He's the type of player you'd love to have on your team. As for Jerusalem, we've had 3 consistent weeks of playing solid team ball. Turan is also back to give us some help down low. Our shots have yet to fall, but we will be a force as a lower seed come playoff time !!!

i was giving props to your team and wasnt going to go there....but 3-14 with 5 turnovers??!!? you were mentally taken out of this game. You had assists but were mostly on fast breaks where you guys had 3 on 1 breaks. Good scorer but just like Melo, a few words take you off your game. The end!

Akib never said he was a factor. All he said was his teams looks forward to the challenge of a rematch, whats wrong with that?
Akib wasnt being disrespectful or taking verbal/insulting shots. Hass not sure why you felt the need to jump in - Anthony can hold his own on the forum and the court. Theres no need for you to start insulting anyone.
Forums shouldnt be used for dishing out insults and petty verbal bickering. Talking trash, bragging rights - all good. Just keep the insults to yourself please. |

He stopped shooting because he couldnt score so he started passing (which is smart) but it was because his shot was off. And about the stat line, u had 3 pts, I had 2 pts and 7 rebounds, i think the second stat trumps. Also I usually play only 35-50% of each game.
